I do love Melbourne. It is great city but for all you Sydney siders I have to reiterate again that Sydney is a great place. It has been really lovely having Victor and Layla here because it means we have been out and about doing a few touristy things. I had a really nice time in the Blue Mountains with Mil and Layla. We stayed with our old friends Michael and Alexis. When I say old friends I mean that they used to baby sit Mil and I when we were kids. It is kind of weird that. But they definitly treat us like adults now and not children. We had some great conversations with them. Michael is an adult educator so it was nice hearing Emily and him chat about that. I have a love/hate relationship with bushwalking. I really like the bush but walking bores me a touch. I don’t know why?? I went swimming under a waterfall, that was quite lovely. I didn’t have a costume but one shouldn’t let that stop them. When we got to the top we read the map wrong and went off in the wrong direction for a bit. When we realised we were heading back down the hill that gave us the clue. It was really funny. Mil and I were a bit hysterical.
{January 6, 2009} Blue Mountains
Adam and my parents are in the Blue Mountains at the moment.
Hey Gem, we bought some furniture today. I have a picture of this little couch here. The rest is getting delivered Saturday and Monday, so I’ll put pictures of them up when they come.
